YellowMemo is very versatile when it comes to customization. One can set memo colors, memo fonts, alarm frequency, main window transparency from the setup panel. The setup panel is also used to configure the YellowMemo data folder.

In the Yellowmemo setup panel, every section has a 'default setting' button, which allows one to easily set the program to a 'sane' state. This allows one free range for experimenting with colors and sounds. To the right, some screen  shot of 'candy' memos.

When memos are idle for a while, the transparency of the memo changes to a more transparent state.

The main UI transpoarency is limited to 10% transparency (on the transparent side), to allow one to see the main panel even in case of misconfiguration. (example: main panel total transparency)

One special mention to the data path: YellowMemo is fully network aware. If the data path is set to a network share, YellowMemo accesses the memo files in 'allow read/write' share mode. This enables one to specify a shred folder on a network, where multiple people can see a shared set of memos. For more information see the Network Memos page.
